Mitch was raised in LaGrange, GA, while Jawan spent her childhood in Thomasville, GA. Mitch is a Teaching Elder in the PCA, serving as Pastor at Westminster Presbyterian Church for the past 18 years. Jawan was in the traditional classroom for many years, most recently as a high school teacher, before becoming the Enrollment and Equipping Coordinator at Impact 360 Institute. They have five children, but have parented many more children over the past 12 years as a foster family, befriending scores of birth families along the way.
